Existing user? Fortunately with this mount and scope combo, the height is sufficient enough so that I can observe without even extending the legs keeping them all the way in! Nice old mount but not exactly cheap! It is small, light, and it has good build quality. Was slightly disappointed when I found out it was 50mm and not 60mm like the other scopes that were widely available. Current product bottom screw holes: 2.

However, it's probably my most interesting year in amateur astronomy overall. I though you only had the one Celestron Powerseeker? We accept only unopened item. Old Nick. I've got a lovely Revelation diagonal for it it has an adaptor to take 1. What I didn't appreciate before I bought it is that the 3 little legs actually store inside the vertical bit of the stand which is a rather neat system.
But mine came with a weight that was heavy enough to balance the Celestron 80ED, so I am fine with this. This means that if you want to make a BIG movement of the scope, you can simply flip the unlocking lever, pivot the scope, and re-lock. But it would not do for a longer instrument than The Celestron 80ED that sits on it now. DarrenW November 3, at AM.
